Their Pricing Is Straight

Their registered agent service runs $125 yearly, and that figure was identical at every membership level we looked at. No teaser year, no discount quietly expiring, no surprise waiting on the second invoice. Predictability is something we rate highly, and we are not about to withhold the compliment from a competitor who has earned it.

The Real Question Is Scope

Their agent service is one component of a wider legal platform: document templates, e-signature, attorney consultations, the rest of it. If you use those tools, the subscription is comfortably worth its price and the agent line is close to a free extra.

If you have never opened them, the picture inverts. You are then paying platform money for a mailbox function, which is the one thing this page asks you to think about. It is a question about your habits, not about their quality.

Seventy-eight dollars across three years is the slimmest margin on this site, and we would rather state it plainly than inflate it. Nobody should abandon tools they use weekly to save $26 a year.

Colorado Now Wants ID From Individual Agents

This is the change most owners have not heard about, and it matters more than the $26.

Since July 1, 2025, an individual serving as a registered agent in Colorado must hold a Colorado driver's license or state identification, or otherwise verify residency with the Secretary of State. The underlying rule in Colo. Rev. Stat. § 7-90-701 already required an individual agent to live or work in the state; the newer requirement puts documentation behind it.

The practical effect falls on informal arrangements. Naming a brother-in-law who spends half the year in Arizona, or an officer who works remotely from another state, no longer works the way people assume it does. A company registered here and in good standing satisfies the statute without producing anybody's license, which is why the professional route keeps getting chosen even by owners who would happily have handled it themselves.
